05How ordering works

Importers, panel builders and OEM buyers do not need a login. They need a plant that answers the drawing, names the alloy, and ships on the Incoterm you name. This is the path.

1. 01

   You send the RFQ

   Drawing, STEP, Alibaba SKU or a sample. Name the alloy if you know it, the finish, annual quantity and the destination port. One form is enough — no account, no catalogue login.

2. 02

   First reply in one business day

   Not a brochure. Alloy, finish, sample option, quantity breaks and Incoterms 2020 (FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva; all terms accepted). ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 PDFs go with the first mail.

3. 03

   First-article sample

   The production lot is frozen against the piece you approve. Pitch, thread and plating are held to the same gauges — the second container matches the first.

4. 04

   Production, then documents

   Export packing labelled to your warehouse SKU. Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin travel with the lot. REACH / RoHS notes against that alloy and plating.

Questions purchasing asks before the first PO.

Straight answers for importers and OEM buyers. If your audit questionnaire needs a named contact, use the RFQ — the Export Desk replies within one business day.

Are you the manufacturer, or a trading company?

We are the manufacturer. We own the factory in Dared, Jamnagar, where we make, check and pack every part ourselves. We are not traders. Many buyers already know us from Alibaba.com, where we have been a Gold Supplier for 12 years.

What do we receive after sending an RFQ?

A factory reply within one business day: named alloy, finish, first-article sample option, quantity breaks, lead time after sample approval, and Incoterms 2020 (FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva; all terms accepted). ISO certificates are attached. We do not send a generic catalogue in place of a quote.

Can purchasing freeze a sample before the container?

Yes. First-article sample is the normal route for new SKUs. Production is held to the approved piece — pitch, thread class and plating on the same gauges.

Do you hold REACH and RoHS as a blanket website claim?

No. Declarations are issued against the alloy and plating of the lot. Name the regulation set on the RFQ.

Which Incoterms and ports?

FOB Mundra or Nhava Sheva as standard. All Incoterms 2020 accepted — CIF, CFR, CIP, DAP, EXW and others as named. Destination port is yours to specify.

Typical MOQ and lead time?

It depends on the part and its finish. Usually we make 10–50 sample pieces in 10–18 days after the drawing is final. Bulk orders usually start from about 500 pieces and take 25–40 days after you approve the sample. If any tooling cost applies, we show it clearly on the quote.

Can you match our current supplier's drawing?

Send the PDF, STEP or a physical sample. We reverse, return DFM notes and a first article, then repeat the lot.

Which languages can our purchasing team use?

RFQs in English are answered as standard. German, French, Italian and Spanish inquiries are read; the technical quote is issued in English unless you ask otherwise. Write sales@brasscomponentsjamnagar.com or use the form.
